New Delhi: The PGPEM students of the Indian Institute of Management, IIM Bangalore organized a cultural fest known as ‘Pehel 2023’ on May 28, 2023.
The theme for the event at IIM Bangalore was "Golden Kaleidoscope: Embracing India's Cultural Diversity." The inaugural speech was delivered by Prof. Allen P Ugargol, the Chairperson of the Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management and a faculty member in the Public Policy area.
Following that, Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan, the Director of IIM Bangalore, delivered a speech. Thereafter, the students who ranked in the top 10 of the 2022-24 PGPEM cohort on the Director's Merit List were honored with Awards and Accolades. The IIM Bangalore PGPEM program is specifically designed for mid-level and senior working executives with a minimum of four years of work experience after graduation.
Pehel 2023 was hosted on 28th May 2023, by students of IIM Bangalore’s two-year MBA for working professionals – the Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM).

Pehel 2023 featured a variety of captivating dance performances, poem recitals, stand-up acts, etc. The event also included a classroom experience and a vote of thanks. Students' families and members of the IIMB community attended the cultural extravaganza.
Prof. Manaswini Bhalla, Economics area, IIMB, Prof. Jitamitra Desai, Chairperson and faculty, Decision Sciences, IIMB, Prof. Debolina Dutta, Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management, IIMB, along with Prof. Allen P Ugargol and Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan, attended the cultural program.
There was also a musical performance by the PGPEM students during Pehel 2023. Prof. Debolina Dutta of the Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management area joined the PGPEM students to sing, during the fest.
