The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) Indore has issued the CAT 2026 notification. It is live at iimcat.ac.in. The Common Admission Test (CAT) application fee has been raised for all categories.
General, OBC, and EWS candidates must now pay Rs 2,700. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates must pay Rs 1,350. The fee is non-refundable and payable through online modes only.
Payment can be made via net banking or UPI. Debit and credit cards are also accepted on the portal. CAT 2026 is a national-level entrance test for MBA admissions to the IIMs and several other B-schools.

How to Apply for CAT 2026?
Candidates must apply only through the official CAT portal. The process starts with creating a new account using a valid email ID and mobile number. A unique registration ID is then generated for future logins.
Applicants next fill personal, academic, and category details. They must also select five preferred test cities from the list. Uploads include the photograph, signature, and category certificates where applicable.
The final step is paying the revised application fee online. Test cities are allotted based on availability from the five chosen preferences. Candidates should review all entries before final submission.
CAT 2026 Exam Pattern at a Glance
