IIM Indore Launches Course in People Analytics and Digital HR in Collaboration with Jigsaw Academy

IIM Indore is launching a three-month course in People Analytics and Digital Human Resource in collaboration with Jigsaw Academy, with a view to helping participants correlate data and derive important connections.

The target of IIM Indore is to emerge as a contextually-relevant business school. A programme on people analytics is extremely necessary. “With changing work patterns and a new job culture emerging amid the pandemic, industry requirements are also changing,” said the director of IIM Indore.

The director said that digital human resource management has become the need of the hour. The short-term course, which will include more than 40 hours of live instructor-led virtual classroom sessions, will prepare the participants for the future. The classes will be given by expert faculty members from IIM Indore and Jigsaw Academy.

“This will [help the students] gain an effective understanding through self-assessment quizzes and assignments, making the curriculum world-class,” the director added.

The course will provide a platform to define a number of business problems in the fields of attrition, employee engagement, hiring, and so on, and will also provide the resources to find statistical solutions to these problems.

The programme will also equip human resource managers with the right analytics and digital HR tools to make smarter decisions in terms of seamless utilization of available resources in an evolving professional world.
