The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and Emeritus has launched a programme in data-driven product management.

New Delhi: An executive programme in data-driven product management has been introduced by Emeritus and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow for working professionals. This eight-month online study is accessible for working professionals with an average of 5 to 10 years of experience. The programme will begin on June 30, 2023.

This is the first executive education curriculum in India, according to the official announcement, to connect "product management with data analytics and design thinking." The training for the programme includes a two-day on-campus tour, real-world case studies, expert discussions, and project work.

After finishing the training, the participants will join the IIM Lucknow executive alumni network team. Among the working professionals that can enrol in the programme are product analysts, product managers, sales managers, business developers seeking to transition into product management positions, software developers, tech experts, data scientists, UX engineers, and architects.

Candidates who meet the requirements can apply via iiml.emeritus.org, the IIM Lucknow's official website. The discounted registration charge is INR 1,80,000 + GST till June 22, 2023; beyond that date, the usual registration fee is INR 1,98,000 + GST.

This executive program's design is based on research demonstrating the value of data and product management in enhancing corporate success. This has led to the inclusion of modules on product marketing strategy, agile and lean product development, and product management for digital goods and platforms in the executive programme curriculum.

At the program's inauguration ceremony, Mohan Kannegal, CEO of India and APAC, Emeritus, stated, "Through the program's innovative curriculum, we aim to nurture product management professionals who can drive innovation and lead businesses towards success".
