IP University Sets up Students Grievance Cell for Exam-Related Queries
A Students Grievance Cell has been set up at the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University to address the issues related to the university examination and other academic activities coming up due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
As per reports, the decision to set up the five-member students’ redressal cell was taken after the students of the IP University took to social media to express their concerns regarding the term-end examination scheduled which were earlier announced by the university.
The university however withdrew the released examination schedule on the same day itself as the students demanded reconsideration regarding the examination.
The Students Grievance Cell will consist of five members including the Director of Academic Affairs, Director of Students Welfare, Director Development, Deputy Registrar (Coo-ordination), and Assistant Registrar of Personnel.
Students with any kind of grievances can send their complaints and suggestions to the cell at firstname.lastname@example.org in order to resolve them.
During this lockdown period, several measures have been taken by the university for the welfare of the students. Earlier, the university organized a web-seminar to discuss the inclusive growth of the specially-abled students during the lockdown.
The webinar was conducted in order to create awareness about the inclusive and accessible measures which are being adopted by the government and civil societies for the benefit of the disabled students.
