IUST 2026 Application Deadline Extended for PG and BArch Programmes at admission.iust.ac.in; Check Last Date to Apply

The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) has extended a key admission deadline. The Awantipora-based institute will now accept applications until June 26 2026. The extension applies to all two-year Postgraduate (PG) programmes for 2026. It also covers the five-year Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) programme.

The official extension notice was issued by IUST on June 15 2026. Candidates can apply online through the portal admission.iust.ac.in. Aspirants now have additional days to complete the application form.

Programmes Covered by the Extension

The revised deadline applies to admission seats across multiple PG streams. IUST runs PG courses in engineering, sciences, humanities, management, and computer applications. The BArch programme is offered through the IUST School of Architecture.

What Is the IUST Application Fee?

The application fee is Rs 500 for one course. Candidates applying for more than one course pay an extra charge. An additional Rs 200 is charged for every extra programme selected. Fees can be paid online through the admission portal directly.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Eligibility differs across PG and BArch programmes at IUST. Most PG courses require a relevant bachelor's degree from a recognised university. Minimum marks usually range between 45 and 60 percent. The exact cut-off depends on the programme and category.

MTech applicants generally need a valid GATE score. They must also hold a relevant BTech degree from a recognised institute. BArch admissions are based on a valid JEE Main Paper-2 rank. Seats are filled through CSAB counselling and an institute-level process.
