JEECUP 2026 Round 6 Choice Filling Begins; Check Complete Schedule Here

The Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has opened the Round 6 online choice filling window for the JEECUP 2026 counselling process. Candidates can now log in and register their institute and course preferences on the official portal at jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The activity started on August 21, 2026 as per the official schedule notified by JEECUP.

Round 6 is the special round of JEECUP 2026 counselling for admission to diploma and polytechnic programmes. It covers seats across government, aided and private polytechnic institutes in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who remain unallotted from earlier rounds can also participate in this round.

The choice filling activity will be followed by seat allotment based on rank, category, choice preference and seat availability. Eligible candidates must complete the choice filling and locking within the deadline mentioned in the official notice. Choices not locked before the deadline will be auto-locked by the system.

Who Is Eligible for JEECUP Round 6 2026?

Candidates who qualified the JEECUP 2026 entrance examination are eligible to participate. This includes those who remain unallotted after the earlier rounds of counselling. Fresh candidates who did not participate in previous rounds may also register as per the official notice.

Aspirants who were allotted a seat earlier but did not report can also be eligible. All participants must have a valid JEECUP 2026 rank and completed counselling registration. Applicants must confirm their category and eligibility status before proceeding with choice filling.

How to Fill Choices for JEECUP 2026 Round 6?

1. Visit the official portal at jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
2. Click on the candidate login link for Round 6 counselling.
3. Enter your JEECUP 2026 application number and password.
4. Read the instructions displayed on the choice filling page carefully.
5. Select preferred institutes and courses in order of your priority.
6. Rearrange, add or delete choices as needed before locking.
7. Save each choice before moving to the next entry.
8. Review the complete list and lock the choices before the deadline.
9. Download the locked choice list for future reference.

What Happens After Choice Locking?

After the choice filling window closes, JEECUP will run the Round 6 seat allotment process. Allotment is done based on merit rank, category, choice preference and seat availability. The provisional seat allotment result will be published on the official portal.

Allotted candidates must then pay the seat acceptance fee within the notified window. They will also need to report to the allotted institute or verification centre with required documents. Candidates should carry originals and self-attested copies for verification.
