Jharkhand NEET UG 2026 Round 3 Registration Begins at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in; Check Last Date to Apply

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has opened the Round 3 registration window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 state counselling on its official portal at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. The application window is open from September 20 and will close on September 24 at 6 PM.

Round 3 is the final upgradation round for admissions to MBBS, BDS and BHMS seats under the state quota in Jharkhand. Candidates already listed in the earlier State Merit List do not need to submit a fresh online application. Fresh aspirants who missed the earlier rounds can register during this window.

An application editing facility will be available on September 24 from 6:01 PM until midnight. The revised State Merit List and the vacant seat matrix will be published on September 25 on the official website.

Who Can Apply for Round 3?

Candidates who qualified NEET UG 2026 and meet the Jharkhand domicile rules can apply for this round. Aspirants seeking a seat upgrade from Round 1 or Round 2 can also opt in through this window. As per the official notice, upgradation is available only through Round 3 in the current admission cycle.

Candidates already appearing on the State Merit List do not need to fill a new application. They must, however, participate in choice filling from September 28 to secure a fresh allotment.

Key Rules on Seat Movement

State Quota candidates moving to All India Quota seats must surrender their original state seat by October 3, 2026. The security money will be forfeited if a candidate resigns from a State Quota seat after allotment.
