Who Is Eligible for Seat Allotment?

Seat allotment is based on CUET PG 2026 scores and the programme choices submitted during the JNU PG registration process. The application window for PG and ADOP admissions closed on June 17, 2026. Only candidates who successfully completed the application form and choice filling are eligible for the merit list.

The allotment depends on the candidate's category, programme preference order, and the cut-off rank for the respective school of study. Candidates who are not allotted a seat in the first merit list will be considered in the subsequent admission rounds, subject to seat availability.

Document Verification

The physical document verification process will be conducted on the JNU campus according to the schedule notified for each school. Candidates must carry all original certificates along with self-attested photocopies of the required documents for verification.

Why This Matters

Missing the June 28 deadline cancels the allotted seat automatically. The seat then moves to the next eligible candidate in the second merit list. Candidates cannot reclaim the same allotment later in the cycle.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Log in to jnuee.jnu.ac.in and check your status in the first merit list.
  2. Read the revised PG and ADOP schedule for round-wise deadlines.
  3. Arrange original certificates, category proof and CUET PG scorecard in advance.
  4. Complete pre-enrolment registration and pay the admission fee before June 28, 2026.
  5. Save the confirmation slip and prepare for physical verification in July.
Keep an Eye On

The JNU PG Second Merit List 2026 is scheduled for release on July 3, 2026. Physical document verification begins on July 9, 2026 at the JNU campus.
