Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU) has decided to reopen their campus for the PhD, MSc, MCA 4th year students from February 1, 2021 in its 5th and 6th phase of reopening.
JNU will only allow the entry of the 4th Year PhD, MSc and MCA students in its 5th and 6th phase of reopening from Friday, i.e, February 1.
"PhD students (4th Year only) from all science schools, special centres, other centres (both hostlers and day scholars) who requires access to the laboratory are allowed to enter into the campus from Friday,i.e, February 1,2021,read a circular issued by the registrar of the Jawaharlal Nehru University,Pramod Kumar", officials said.
He further added,"MSc and MCA students (4th Semester only) from all science schools and special centres (both hostlers and day scholars) who require access to the laboratory are allowed to enter into the campus in the 6th phase of reopening starting from February 1,"

The Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU) initially only allowed the PhD Science students from (person with disability category) and (other categories) Science students,who require access to laboratories, to have entry at the campus from December 21,2020.
The varsity has for the first time announced the re-opening of the sports complex for "walking and running purposes" only. Canteen of Aravali Guest House and the India Coffee House for "takeaway facility" only has been allowed for reopening. All instructions will be followed as per the standard operating preventive measures laid down by the government.
Further, the administration has decided to conduct testing camps in the university campus on regular intervals keeping in view the new infectious strain of COVID-19.
The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), started its phased reopening of the campus on November 2, 2020, which was physically shut in March last year in view of the ongoing pandemic.
