Jai Prakash University (JPU) Chapra has released the Undergraduate Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) third merit list for the 2026-27 academic session on the official Samarth portal at jpvadm.samarth.edu.in. The list covers admissions to four-year Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) programmes.

The university has also issued the first merit list for undergraduate vocational courses on the same portal. This list applies to Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Mass Communication (BMC), and allied vocational programmes.

Selected candidates must complete document verification and fee payment by 4:00 PM on August 6, 2026. The enrollment window opened on August 1, 2026 and will close on the same deadline.

The CBCS third merit list is meant for candidates seeking admission to the 2026-2030 batch of BA, BSc, and BCom courses. The vocational first merit list covers BCA, BBA, BMC, and other job-oriented UG programmes offered by the university.

Candidates must carry original documents to the allotted college for verification. Missing any required document may lead to cancellation of admission.

• Intermediate marksheet and certificate
• SLC or CLC certificate
• Reserved category certificate, if applicable
• Aadhaar Card and APAAR ID
• Four passport-size colour photographs

How to Check the JPU Chapra Merit List 2026-27?

The merit list and allotment letter can be viewed only after logging in with valid credentials on the Samarth portal.

1. Visit the official portal at jpvadm.samarth.edu.in.
2. Click on the admission login link on the homepage.
3. Enter the registered user ID and password.
4. Open the allotment section to view the merit status.
5. Download the allotment letter for verification.

How to Pay the Enrollment Fee?

The university has clarified that enrollment fees will be accepted only through the Samarth portal payment gateway. Offline payments will not be entertained by the colleges.

Students can pay using net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. A payment receipt must be saved after the transaction is completed successfully.
