Karnataka SSLC 2020: Supplementary Exam Starts Today, Check Details Here

The Karnataka SSLC Supplementary Exam 2020 has begun today, i.e. September 21, 2020, for Class 10 students. Earlier in the month, KSEB released the detailed exam date sheet for the Class 10th Supply Exam 2020.

Following the release of the date sheet, admit cards were released by the authority for SSLC Exam 2020 online on its official website kseeb.nic.in.

Moreover, the board has also released the precautionary guidelines which are to be taken by the students while appearing for the supplementary exams.

Duration of the Supplementary Exam

As per the announcement by the board, the time duration of all the papers will be 3 hours for the Supplementary Exam for Karnataka SSLC students, similar to the previous exams held in March. The exam would begin from 10.30 AM to 1.45 PM.

Students will get the question paper for the scheduled exam 15 minutes before the commencement of exam by the examiner. The allotted time given to the students can be used for reading the question paper.

COVID-19 Precautions & Guidelines to be Followed

KSEB has announced the following necessary precautions and guidelines which should be followed during the conduct of the examination

Face masks or face covers are compulsory for students and staff members visiting the exam centres, as a part of the precautionary measures.
Thermal Screening will be done on the entry gate for all students and staff members, keeping in mind fever to be the major symptom of COVID-19.
The exam centres provide the facilities to maintain proper hand hygiene with frequent washing of hands using soap and water for students and staff members. Alcohol-based hand-sanitizers have also been allowed inside the exam center.
As the exam will begin at 10:30 AM, students are required to report at the exam centre latest by 9:30 AM. It is necessary for easy entry of students into exam halls while following social distancing guidelines.
One extra hour will be given to differently-abled candidates to write the exams.
