Kerala Agricultural University has released the enhanced 2026-27 fee structure for UG, PG and PhD programmes. A 5 percent hike applies across all existing batches. The full order is available on kau.in.
The Kerala Agricultural University (KAU), Thrissur has released the enhanced fee structure for 2026-27. The order covers Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) regular academic programmes. Candidates can access the official notification on the KAU portal at kau.in.
The order was issued through the academic notifications section on September 21, 2026. KAU is a State Agricultural University established in 1971 at Vellanikkara in Thrissur district.

Who Does the Revised Fee Apply To?
The enhanced fee rates are not restricted to fresh admissions alone. Existing batches across all years of study also fall within scope. Students currently enrolled in UG, PG and PhD streams must pay the revised amounts from 2026-27. The order does not exempt any regular academic programme.
Earlier KAU fee revisions had drawn protests from student groups in late 2025. The Kerala state government had at that time signalled a review of the hike proposal before it was finalised through the current order.
