CEE Kerala has extended the KLEE LLM 2026 Phase 1 option registration deadline to October 22, 2026. Candidates can submit college preferences on cee.kerala.gov.in before the new last date closes.
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has extended a key counselling deadline. The move affects the Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE) LLM 2026 process. Phase 1 option registration now closes on October 22, 2026. Candidates can register their options on the official portal at cee.kerala.gov.in.
The previous Phase 1 deadline was October 8, 2026. This is the second extension granted by CEE Kerala for this round. Only candidates on the KLEE LLM 2026 rank list are eligible to register. They must also upload all mandatory documents through the candidate portal.

Who Can Register Options for KLEE LLM 2026 Phase 1?
Candidates must satisfy two conditions to take part in option registration. Their names must appear in the KLEE LLM 2026 rank list. They must also complete the mandatory document upload step on the candidate portal.
Only candidates who meet both conditions can register their choices. Options registered without document upload will not be considered for allotment. The KLEE LLM programme offers around 155 seats across participating law colleges in Kerala.
How to Register Options on cee.kerala.gov.in?
Candidates can follow the steps below to lock their preferences on time.
- Visit the official CEE Kerala portal at cee.kerala.gov.in.
- Open the KLEE LLM 2026 candidate portal link on the homepage.
- Log in using the application number and password.
- Click on the option registration tab inside the dashboard.
- Select preferred colleges and courses in the desired order.
- Save each option before moving to the next entry.
- Confirm the final list before the deadline on October 22, 2026.
Once confirmed, the registered options cannot be altered later. Candidates should review their preferences carefully before submission closes.
This is the second extension granted for Phase 1 option registration. CEE Kerala has given candidates two more weeks to finalise their college choices.
