KLEE LLM 2026 Round 1 Option Registration Deadline Extended; Check Steps to Register Choices

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has extended the Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE) LLM 2026 Round 1 Option Registration deadline on the official website at cee.kerala.gov.in. Eligible candidates can now record and confirm their college and course preferences until October 8, 2026.

The revised schedule applies to the first round of centralised allotment for admission to the two-year LLM programme in government and government-controlled law colleges across Kerala. The earlier deadline for option registration was October 5, 2026, up to 3 PM.

What the Notification Says?

As per the official notification dated October 6, 2026 by the CEE, Kerala, candidates included in the KLEE LLM 2026 rank list can log in to the candidate portal and register their options for the first allotment. The window now stays open for three additional days beyond the earlier deadline.

Candidates must choose their preferred colleges and specialisations in order of priority. The order of options filed by the candidate is the sole basis for allotment. Options once submitted and confirmed cannot be altered after the revised closing time.

Who Can Register Options?

Only candidates whose names appear in the KLEE LLM 2026 rank list published by the CEE, Kerala are eligible to register options for the first round. Candidates must have completed the mandatory document upload step through the candidate portal before registering their choices.

Registered options will be considered only if the candidate's rank is released and the uploaded documents are in order. Any candidate missing from the rank list cannot participate in the Round 1 allotment.

How to Register Options for KLEE LLM 2026 Round 1?

Candidates covered by the rank list can follow the steps below to record their choices before the revised deadline.

1. Visit the official portal at cee.kerala.gov.in/llm2026.
2. Click on the candidate login link on the home page.
3. Enter the application number and password to sign in.
4. Open the option registration module from the dashboard.
5. Select the preferred colleges and specialisations in order of priority.
6. Review the entered choices and confirm the final list.
7. Save a copy of the option registration slip for future reference.
