The Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) has announced the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2026 exam date on its official website at kmatindia.com. The registration deadline stands extended to August 31, 2026. Candidates can apply through the official portal until the revised cut-off.
KMAT 2026 will be conducted on September 13, 2026, a Sunday. The MCA paper is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The MBA paper will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM the same day.
The exam will be held as a Home Based Online Remote Proctored Test. Each paper carries a duration of two hours. The test offers admission to over 189 AICTE-approved member institutions across Karnataka.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration. A Master's degree from a recognised institution is also accepted. Final-year students meeting the percentage threshold at the time of application may also apply.
General category candidates need at least 50 percent aggregate marks. SC and ST category candidates need a minimum of 45 percent aggregate marks. The exam is open to candidates from across India.

Accepted disciplines include Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, and Engineering or Technology. Equivalent recognised degrees are also permitted for the qualifying examination.
KMAT 2026 Exam Pattern
The exam contains 120 Multiple Choice Questions divided into three sections. Candidates get a total of two hours to attempt the paper. There is no restriction on moving between sections during the test.
