MAH 3-Year LLB CAP 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Out; Report by August 22

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra, has released the Maharashtra 3-Year LLB Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result. Candidates can check the allotment status on the official portal at llb3cap26.mahacet.org. The result was declared on August 19, 2026.

Allotted candidates must accept the seat, pay the acceptance fee, and report to the allotted institute within the notified window. The reporting window opened on August 20, 2026 and closes on August 22, 2026. Colleges will then upload admitted candidate data by August 23, 2026.

Key Details of Round 1 Allotment

The Round 1 allotment covers all reserved and unreserved categories for the 3-year LLB programme in Maharashtra. Candidates who locked their preferences in the option form window that closed on August 16 are eligible for allotment.

Freeze or Betterment: The Choice Candidates Must Make

Every allotted candidate must select one of two options during the acceptance step. The choice decides whether the candidate stays with the current college or waits for a better one.

• Freeze: The candidate accepts the current allotment and exits further CAP rounds.
• Betterment: The candidate joins the current college but stays in the pool for a higher preference in later rounds.

The CET Cell has discontinued the auto-freeze option for the 2026-27 CAP cycle. Candidates must therefore log in and select their choice manually. Missing this step will forfeit the allotted seat.

How to Check the MAH 3-Year LLB CAP 2026 Round 1 Allotment?

1. Visit the official portal at llb3cap26.mahacet.org.
2. Click on the Candidate Login link on the home page.
3. Enter the application number and password used during registration.
4. Open the Round 1 Seat Allotment link on the dashboard.
5. Download and save the allotment letter for reporting.

How to Accept the Seat and Report to the Allotted College?

The acceptance step is fully online. Reporting to the allotted institute is offline and requires original documents.

1. Log in to the CAP portal and open the allotment letter.
2. Select either Freeze or Betterment as the seat choice.
3. Pay the Rs 1,000 seat acceptance fee through the online payment gateway.
4. Download the fee receipt and the self-generated admission form.
5. Visit the allotted college between August 20 and August 22 with original documents.
6. Complete document verification and pay the institute fee at the college.

• Round 1 allotment letter and seat acceptance receipt
• MH CET Law 2026 scorecard and admit card
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates
• Graduation mark sheets and degree certificate
• Domicile, caste, non-creamy layer, or EWS certificate as applicable
• Aadhaar card and recent passport-size photographs
