| All India Candidates | Applicants from states other than Maharashtra |

What Happens After the Final Merit List?
The final merit list is the base document for CAP seat allotment. The CET Cell will next open the option form window for eligible candidates. Applicants will fill choices of BCA colleges and programmes as per their preference.
Seat allotment will then follow based on merit rank, choices, and category reservation. The CET Cell has also confirmed that ACAP and Non-CAP registration will begin soon. This route is meant for candidates not covered under the main CAP process.
The CET Cell splits candidates into three streams to protect the state quota. Maharashtra State candidates compete for the majority of BCA seats. All India and Defence candidates draw from distinct reserved pools. This model ensures fair allotment across categories in every CAP round.
