Maharashtra CET Cell has released the MAH NEET UG 2026 final merit list with 35463 eligible candidates. CAP Round 1 choice filling is open at medical2026.mahacet.org from August 26 to August 29. Seat allotment comes on August 30.
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) has released the Maharashtra NEET UG (MAH NEET UG) 2026 final merit list on the official portal at medical2026.mahacet.org. The list has been issued for Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 1 for MBBS and BDS courses in Maharashtra.
A total of 35,463 candidates feature in the final provisional merit list. These candidates are now eligible to take part in the online choice filling process for Round 1 seat allotment.
The CET Cell has also released the CAP Round 1 seat matrix along with the merit list. Candidates must lock their preferences within the notified window to be considered for allotment.

How to Fill Choices for MAH NEET UG 2026 CAP Round 1?
Eligible candidates must submit their preferences before the deadline closes on August 29. The steps are simple and must be completed in one sitting where possible.
- Visit the official portal at medical2026.mahacet.org.
- Log in using the application number and password.
- Open the CAP Round 1 choice filling link on the dashboard.
- Select colleges and courses in the desired order of preference.
- Lock the choices and download the confirmation slip.
Who Is Eligible for Choice Filling?
Only candidates whose names appear in the final merit list can take part in Round 1 choice filling. Candidates must have completed document verification and paid the required registration fee.
What Happens After Choice Filling?
The CET Cell will process the locked preferences using merit and category rules. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on August 30, 2026. Allotted candidates must then report to their assigned college between August 31 and September 4 by 4:30 PM.
