Goa NEET UG 2026 Final Merit List Out at dte.goa.gov.in; Check Round 1 Admission Schedule

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa has released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 final merit list at dte.goa.gov.in. The rank list covers state quota admissions to MBBS, BDS and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) courses. Round 1 of the state counselling process has also officially begun.

The provisional merit list was first published on August 16, 2026. DTE Goa later released the final rank list on August 19, 2026. Candidate objections were reviewed by the authority before this final version was locked.

The final merit list covers 85 percent of the state quota medical seats in Goa. Goa Medical College, Panaji is the flagship institution for MBBS admissions here. Admissions to the remaining 15 percent All India Quota seats are handled separately by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

How to Check the Goa NEET UG 2026 Final Merit List?

Candidates who appeared for NEET UG 2026 from Goa can follow the steps below. The final rank list is available as a downloadable PDF on the DTE portal.

1. Visit the official DTE Goa website at dte.goa.gov.in.
2. Click on the Final Merit List link listed under Notices.
3. Open and download the PDF file for NEET based degree courses.
4. Use the search function to locate your name or application number.
5. Note down your merit position, rank and course eligibility status.

What Documents Are Required for Round 1 Reporting?

Shortlisted candidates must carry the following originals along with self-attested photocopies. Missing documents can lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

• NEET UG 2026 admit card and official scorecard
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates
• Birth certificate as proof of date of birth
• Domicile certificate issued by the competent Goa authority
• Category certificate for candidates under reserved categories
• Recent passport-size photographs of the candidate
• Valid government photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card

How to Complete Round 1 Admission Under Goa State Quota?

The Round 1 counselling is conducted offline at the venue notified by DTE Goa. Seat allotment is based on merit position and category.

1. Read the Round 1 admission notice on the DTE Goa portal carefully.
2. Report to the notified counselling centre on the scheduled reporting date.
3. Complete document verification at the venue in the assigned slot.
4. Participate in the offline seat allotment process based on your rank.
5. Accept the allotted seat and pay the prescribed admission fee.
