Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) will commence the admission process from August 1 in the online mode.

Maharashtra Skill Development Minister, Nawab Malik said that the admission process will be in a centralized online manner this year.
"The information regarding reopening of ITIs will be shared later, keeping in mind the government rules for lockdown conditions. For now, only the admission will be initiated in online mode", informed Malik.
Candidates who couldn't pass the SSC examinations will also be permitted to apply for ITIs admission, this year. The minimum qualification and age of above 14 years, is sufficient for applying at ITIs.
Earlier, all the ITIs were directed to develop an app to help students in online admission into colleges and institutes from the ease of home.
As reported earlier ITIs were to commence the admission process post Maharashtra SSC Result declaration, which came out on July 29, 2020. The overall pass percentage of SSC is 95.30%, with the best performance recorded from the Konkan region with a 98.77% pass percentage.
In total there are 417 government ITIs and 596 private ITIs. Students are advised to visit the official website and move ahead with the process at the earliest so as to avoid the last-minute rush.
