MCC NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Final Seat Allotment Out; Check Reporting Deadline of September 18

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 Round 1 final seat allotment result. Candidates can check their allotted college on the official portal at mcc.nic.in. The result was declared on September 12, 2026.

Allotted candidates must report to their designated institute between September 12 and September 18, 2026. Reporting is mandatory to secure the seat and complete admission formalities. Failure to report by the deadline will result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

The counselling is being conducted for 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MBBS and BDS courses. It also covers seats in central institutions, deemed universities, ESIC, AFMS, and AIIMS. Candidates who do not accept the allotted seat will move to the next round of counselling.

How to Check MCC NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Allotment Result?

Candidates can follow these steps to view the allotment letter and allotted college details on the MCC website.

1. Visit the official MCC portal at mcc.nic.in.
2. Click on the UG Medical Counselling tab on the homepage.
3. Open the link for Round 1 Final Seat Allotment Result 2026.
4. Enter your NEET UG roll number and date of birth.
5. Download the allotment letter and save a copy for reporting.

Documents Required for Reporting

Candidates must carry original and photocopies of these documents to the allotted institute.

• MCC allotment letter
• NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
• Valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar or passport
• Eight passport-size photographs
• Category certificate, if applicable
• PwD certificate issued by a competent authority, if applicable

What Happens After Reporting?

The allotted institute will carry out physical document verification. Candidates whose documents match the eligibility criteria will be admitted to the college. The institute will then upload the joining data on the MCC portal.

Candidates who fail to report by September 18, 2026, will forfeit their allotted seat. Such candidates will not be eligible for upgradation in Round 2. Seats that fall vacant after Round 1 reporting will be added to the Round 2 seat matrix.

MCC NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Details

The MCC will begin Round 2 counselling after Round 1 reporting concludes. Fresh candidates and those seeking upgradation can register. Candidates admitted in Round 1 who wish to upgrade must opt for the upgrade option before choice filling.

1. Log in to mcc.nic.in and download your allotment letter.
2. Read the allotted institute's reporting instructions on its official website.
3. Arrange all original documents along with two sets of photocopies.
4. Keep the admission fee ready in the mode specified by the institute.
5. Report to the allotted college on or before September 18, 2026.
6. Collect the joining confirmation slip from the institute after verification.
