How to Check the NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Seat Matrix?

The seat matrix files are available as PDF downloads on the MCC portal. Candidates should follow the steps below to access them.

  1. Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
  2. Click on the UG Medical Counselling tab.
  3. Select the Seat Matrix section on the home page.
  4. Choose the Round 2 seat matrix link for the desired stream.
  5. Download the PDF and check college-wise and category-wise seats.

Who Should Register for Round 2?

Round 2 is open to fresh candidates who did not participate in Round 1. It is also open to candidates who did not get an allotment in Round 1. Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 but who did not join can also register.

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 and who joined can participate for upgradation. They must not resign from their current allotted seat before Round 2 result.

Why the Seat Matrix Matters

The seat matrix decides which colleges and courses candidates can choose. Any seat not listed in the matrix cannot be filled through Round 2 choice locking. Reviewing the college-wise vacancy is the most important step before filling choices.

Action Plan for Candidates
