MGUG Merit List 1 2026 Released at mgug.ac.in; Check Document Verification Window

Mahayogi Gorakhnath University (MGUG) has released its first merit list for the 2026-27 admission cycle. The list is live on the official portal at mgug.ac.in. It names candidates shortlisted through the MGUG Combined Entrance Test (CET) 2026.

Shortlisted candidates must now complete document verification and admission confirmation. This window opens on June 5, 2026 and closes on June 6, 2026. The university will publish Merit List 2 on June 6, 2026.

MGUG runs the CET every year to fill UG, PG, and PhD seats. The CET-based intake spans nursing, pharmacy, agriculture, management, and life sciences.

Programmes Covered Under MGUG Merit List 1

The MGUG CET 2026 merit list governs admissions across several streams. Candidates can locate their programme allotment beside their roll number.

• Nursing: B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, ANM, and M.Sc. Nursing
• Pharmacy: D.Pharm, B.Pharm, and MBA Pharmaceutical Management
• Allied health: Optometry, Forensic Science, and Medical Laboratory Science
• Life sciences: Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Microbiology at UG and PG levels
• Agriculture: B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons) and MBA Agribusiness
• Management and IT: BBA, BCA, MBA, and MCA
• Doctoral: PhD in Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Commerce, and Ayurveda

MBBS and BAMS admissions follow the NEET-UG route and run on a separate schedule.

How to Check the MGUG Merit List 1 2026?

1. Visit the official MGUG portal at mgug.ac.in.
2. Click on the Examination tab on the top menu.
3. Select the Results option from the dropdown panel.
4. Open the MGUG CET 2026 Merit List link.
5. Search the PDF for your roll number and rank.
6. Note the allotted programme and download a copy.

What Documents Are Required for Verification?

Candidates must carry originals along with self-attested copies of every certificate. Missing or unclear documents can lead to admission cancellation at the counter.

• Class 10 marksheet and passing certificate
• Class 12 marksheet and passing certificate
• Qualifying degree marksheet, for PG and PhD applicants
• MGUG CET 2026 admit card and scorecard
• Aadhaar card or any other government photo ID
• Category certificate, if claiming reservation
• Migration certificate from the last institution attended
• Character certificate issued within the last six months
• Four recent passport-size colour photographs

How to Confirm Admission at MGUG?

Shortlisted candidates must report at the MGUG campus during the two-day window. Document checks happen at the programme-specific counter inside the admission block. Candidates must then pay the programme fee online to lock the allotted seat.

The admission guidelines state that the seat stands cancelled without fee payment during counselling. The portal accepts net banking, debit card, credit card, and UPI for fee payment.

2. Confirm your roll number, rank, and allotted programme on the list.
3. Arrange originals, self-attested copies, and photographs in a single folder.
4. Reach the MGUG Gorakhpur campus on June 5 or June 6, 2026.
5. Complete document verification at the assigned admission counter.
6. Pay the programme fee online to lock your seat.
7. Track the portal on June 6 for the Merit List 2 release.
