How to Accept the Allotted Seat?

Seat acceptance is a two-stage process for allotted candidates. Both an online step and a physical step are compulsory.

Candidates must first complete self-verification on the CAP portal. Then the online seat acceptance must be submitted before the deadline. After that, candidates must report physically at the allotted institute.

During physical reporting, candidates must carry all required original documents. The requisite tuition fee must also be paid at the institute. Only then will the admission stand confirmed for the 2026 session.

What Happens After Round 4?

Round 4 is the last CAP round conducted by the CET Cell. Candidates without a CAP seat can apply through the Institute Level admission route. The Institute Level option form is open till September 7 2026.

Why This Matters

Round 4 is the final CAP stage for MHT CET 2026. Candidates who miss the September 7 deadline will forfeit their allotted seat. Vacant seats will then move to the Institute Level admission stage.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Log in at fe2026.mahacet.org and download the allotment letter.
  2. Complete self-verification on the CAP portal without delay.
  3. Submit the online seat acceptance within the September 4 to 7 window.
  4. Arrange all original documents and the required tuition fee.
  5. Report physically at the allotted institute by September 7 2026.
Keep an Eye On

Watch for Institute Level admission notifications and vacancy lists after September 7 2026. The CET Cell will also release final merit updates for pharmacy and engineering seats.
