DTE Madhya Pradesh has opened MP M.Arch, M.Tech and M.Plan Counselling 2026 Round 1 registration at dte.mponline.gov.in. The last date to apply is June 28, 2026, and Merit List 1 will be released on July 3, 2026.
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh, has opened registration for the Master of Architecture (M.Arch), Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Planning (M.Plan) Counselling 2026. Candidates can register on the official portal at dte.mponline.gov.in. The last date to apply for Round 1 is June 28, 2026.
The choice filling window for Round 1 will stay open till July 2, 2026. Merit List 1 is scheduled for release on July 3, 2026. Seat allotment letters can be printed between July 8 and July 13, 2026.

Who Can Apply for MP PG Counselling 2026?
The counselling covers admission to postgraduate technical programmes offered by government, autonomous and private institutes in Madhya Pradesh. M.Tech candidates need a valid GATE score or must qualify the state-level PGETA examination. M.Arch candidates require a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree from a Council of Architecture (COA) recognised institute.
M.Plan candidates need a Bachelor of Planning or B.Arch degree from a recognised institution. Sponsored and working professional category candidates have separate eligibility under the same counselling. Candidates must check the official rule book on the DTE portal for category-wise relaxation and reservation details.
How to Register for MP M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan Counselling 2026?
The registration is fully online and is hosted on the MP Online portal of DTE. Candidates must complete registration, document upload and fee payment before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Visit the official portal at dte.mponline.gov.in.
- Select the relevant postgraduate stream under Post Graduate Programs.
- Click on the Apply link and complete the new registration form.
- Upload the required scanned documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the counselling registration fee online and download the confirmation.
How to Fill Choices and Lock Preferences?
Choice filling opens one day after registration starts and runs in parallel with the registration window. Candidates can log in to add, remove or reorder institute and branch preferences. The portal allows edits only during the notified two-day re-choice filling window after registration closes.
The seat allotment in Merit List 1 will be based on the locked choices and the candidate's merit rank. Candidates are advised to add as many genuine choices as possible to improve allotment chances.
DTE Madhya Pradesh is running the MP B.E. and PG counselling cycles in parallel this year. The PG schedule is tighter, with only 12 days for registration in Round 1. Missing the June 28 deadline means waiting for Round 2 in mid-July.

- Keep your GATE/PGETA scorecard, qualifying degree, category certificate and domicile proof ready.
