The University of Mumbai (MU) has extended its admission registration deadline. Undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) candidates can register until July 15, 2026. The revised schedule was announced through an official circular dated July 4, 2026.
The extension applies to all affiliated, autonomous, and recognised institutions. It covers programmes across the four faculties of the university. Students must complete the process on the official portal at mu.ac.in.
The circular was signed by Dr. Pooja Raundale, Director of the Board. Every affiliated college must implement the revised timeline strictly. This is the final chance for candidates who missed earlier deadlines.

How to Complete Mumbai University Registration?
Registration runs in two clear steps. Candidates must complete pre-admission registration and then apply to their chosen college.
- Visit the official Mumbai University admission portal at mu.ac.in.
- Select the UG or PG registration link based on your programme.
- Fill in personal, academic, and category details in the form.
- Upload the required documents and a passport-size photograph.
- Submit the pre-admission form and save the reference number.
- Fill the college application form online or offline at the college.
- Wait for the merit list published by the respective college.
This is the second and final registration window for eligible candidates. Online pre-admission registration is mandatory for every applicant. Colleges cannot grant admission without a valid registration reference number.
