Odisha: On November 02, 2020, the Department of Higher Education (DHE) has released a notification regarding Plus III First Year Spot Admission 2020. As per the issued notification, the spot admissions will begin from November 23, 2020, till November 27, 2020.

DHE Odisha has also issued guidelines for spot admission. According to which the admissions will be conducted based on the availability of vacant seats after the release of 2nd round merit-list for Plus III first-year admission.

The second round of the admission process for undergraduate programs offered by various institutions will end on November 03. The list of vacant seats in each subject and category will be made available on November 09, 2020, at SAMS official website, samsodisha.gov.in.

Odisha Plus III First Year Spot Admission 2020: Guidelines

According to the guidelines issued by the department of higher education, the candidates who are eligible to apply for spot admissions are:

Those who had submitted the online common application form (CAF) but could not submit the application fees.
Those who applied for the first and second rounds of admission but failed to get any seats.
Those who failed to take admission after getting selected in the first or second round.
Those who have taken admission during the first or second admission procedure but want to change college or subject or both.

Note: Fresh applications will not be entertained for spot admissions.

Plus III First Year Spot Admission 2020: How to apply?

The department of Higher Education will display the list of vacant seat subjects and category wise after the completion of the second round of admission procedure. Follow the steps given below to apply for the Plus III first-year spot admission:

Step 1: Visit the SAMS official website @samsodisha.gov.in.

Step 2: Log in to print spot admission copy of CAF.

Step 3: Fill the application form with neat handwriting.

Step 4: Address the application form, edited CAF, and mark sheet to Principal of the college where vacancy is available.

Step 5: Drop the application form with the necessary documents in the dropbox installed in the colleges.

Important Note: The list of the selected candidate will be displayed on the notice board of respective colleges by 3:00 p.m. on November 17, 2020. On the same day, student’s data will all get uploaded in the college-e-space by 6:00 p.m.
