DMET Odisha has released the NEET UG Round 2 seat matrix 2026 on September 8. Choice filling opens on September 9. Provisional seat allotment will be published on September 11 at ojee.nic.in.

The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Odisha has released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 Round 2 seat matrix on the official portal at ojee.nic.in. The vacant seat list covers MBBS and BDS seats across government and private medical and dental colleges in the state. It has been published alongside the revised state merit list for Round 2.
The seat matrix shows vacancies under Unreserved (UR), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Physically Challenged (PC), Ex-Servicemen (ES), and Green Card (GC) categories. Candidates registered for Round 2 must consult the matrix before locking their college and course preferences. Odisha offers 2,100 MBBS seats and 363 BDS seats in total across its participating institutes.

Who Can Participate in Round 2?
Only candidates who registered on the OJEE candidate portal within the September 7 to 8 window are eligible for Round 2. Fresh registrations after this deadline are not accepted. Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 but did not join must also check their status on the portal.
Candidates who wish to upgrade their Round 1 allotment can also take part. Those satisfied with their current seat need not participate in Round 2 choice filling.
How to Check the Odisha NEET Round 2 Seat Matrix?
Follow the steps below to access the vacant seat matrix on the official portal.
- Visit the official OJEE website at ojee.nic.in or odishajee.com.
- Click on the link titled Candidate Login for MBBS or BDS Counselling 2026.
- Log in using the registered application number and password.
- Open the Round 2 vacant seat matrix link on the dashboard.
- Check the college-wise and category-wise seat availability.
- Download the seat matrix PDF for reference during choice filling.
How to Fill Choices for Round 2?
The choice filling and locking module opens on September 9 at 5:30 PM. It closes strictly at 4:00 PM on September 10. Candidates must select colleges and courses in the order of their preference.
Unlocked choices will be locked automatically at the deadline. Candidates are advised to lock their choices manually before the window closes to avoid last-minute technical issues.
Round 2 is the last state counselling stage before mop-up admissions. Vacant seats in government colleges are limited and move quickly. Careful choice filling can decide the final college a candidate joins in 2026.
