Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 Receives Registration from 2 Crore Students

New Delhi: The seventh edition of PM Modi's Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 has recorded a remarkable registration count of over 2 crore on the MyGov portal this year. According to the official notification, 22,631,698 students have enrolled for the upcoming session.

As per the MyGov portal data, the registration figures include over 20.562 million students, 1.493 million teachers, and 569,000 parents for this edition. Scheduled to take place on January 29, 2024, from 11 am onwards, the PPC 2024 will adopt a town hall format at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Nearly 4,000 participants are expected to engage with the Prime Minister during the program.

In anticipation of the main event, a series of activities is set to unfold, commencing on January 12, 2024 celebrated as Youth Day, and continuing until January 23, 2024. These school-level initiatives form a diverse spectrum of engagements, encompassing marathon runs, music competitions, meme contests, nukkad natak (street plays), student-anchor-student-guest discussions, and more.

Culminating on January 23, 2024 coinciding with the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti, a nationwide painting competition will be conducted across 500 districts. The competition themes, including Chandrayan and India's sporting triumphs, aim to illustrate how examinations can transform into a celebration of life.

For PPC 2024, the selection process will identify approximately 2050 participants based on their submitted questions on the MyGov portal. These participants will receive a special Pariksha Pe Charcha kit, comprising the Exam Warriors book in Hindi and English, authored by the Prime Minister and a certificate recognizing their participation in this significant event.
