SGGSIE&T Nanded ACAP Spot Counselling 2026 Schedule Out

Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology (SGGSIE&T), Nanded has released the Institute-Level Additional Centralised Admission Process (ACAP) On-the-Spot Counselling schedule for the academic year 2026-27. The round covers admission to First Year BTech, Direct Second Year BTech Lateral and First Year MTech programmes. Candidates can check the full schedule on the official website at sggs.ac.in.

The Institute-Level Spot Round is conducted after the state Centralised Admission Process (CAP) ends. It is meant to fill the vacant seats that remain after the regular CAP rounds. Eligible candidates from Maharashtra and outside can take part in this round.

The Spot Round is held separately for the three programme categories. Each category has its own notification, schedule and application form on the official portal. Candidates must apply only for the programme they are eligible for.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Only candidates who meet the state CET Cell eligibility rules can take part in this round. The basic conditions for each programme are listed below.

  • First Year BTech: Candidates with a valid MHT CET 2026 or JEE Main 2026 score, and who have registered with the Maharashtra CET Cell for the current admission year.
  • BTech Lateral (Direct Second Year): Diploma holders in the relevant engineering branch, or BSc graduates, who have registered for the state DSE CAP 2026.
  • First Year MTech: BE or BTech degree holders in the relevant branch with a valid GATE score, or non-GATE candidates as per the state CET Cell notification.

Candidates must also confirm that their name appears on the vacant seat list of the institute. The final call on eligibility rests with the institute.

How to Apply for the ACAP Spot Round 2026?

The application is done fully online through a Google Form linked on the official pages. Candidates must not visit the institute for form submission. The steps are simple and can be done from home.

  2. Open the notification page for the correct programme category.
  3. Read the schedule, seat matrix and instructions carefully.
  4. Fill the online application form linked in the notification.

Documents Required at the Spot Round

Shortlisted candidates must report to the institute in person on the scheduled date. They must carry all original documents along with two sets of self-attested copies.

  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates.
  • Diploma mark sheets, for BTech Lateral applicants.
  • Graduation mark sheets and degree certificate, for MTech applicants.
  • Valid CET scorecard (MHT CET, JEE Main, MAH CET DSE or GATE, as per the programme).
  • CAP 2026 registration receipt and allotment letter, if any.
  • Caste, non-creamy layer, EWS or PwD certificate, if applicable.
  • Aadhaar card and recent passport-size photographs.
  • Domicile certificate, if applicable.

SGGSIE&T Nanded Spot Round Fee

Candidates must pay a non-refundable registration fee to take part in the Spot Round. This fee is separate from the tuition fee payable at the time of admission. In previous years the registration fee was Rs 1,000 per applicant. Applicants should check the current fee on the official notification before paying.

Why This Round Matters

The Institute-Level Spot Round is often the last chance to secure a seat at SGGSIE&T Nanded for the year. Seats not filled through the state CAP move to this round and are allotted based on merit.
