SRMJEEE 2027 Registration Begins; Check Phase 1 and Phase 2 Exam Dates

The SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has opened the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) 2027 registration window on the official admissions portal at applications.srmist.edu.in/btech. The entrance test will decide B.Tech admissions across all SRM campuses for the 2027 academic session. Interested candidates can now fill the application form online.

SRMIST has confirmed that the entrance test will be held in multiple phases next year. Phase 1 is scheduled for April 2027 and Phase 2 for June 2027. A third phase in July 2027 is also part of the plan.

Eligibility Criteria for SRMJEEE 2027

Candidates must meet the academic and age norms set by SRMIST. The eligibility rules apply uniformly across all phases of the test.

• Must have passed Class 12 or be appearing in the 2027 board exam.
• Required subjects are Physics, Mathematics and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology or Information Technology.
• Minimum aggregate of 60 percent in Class 12 is mandatory.
• Age must be at least 16 years and 6 months as on July 31, 2027.
• Candidates must be Indian nationals or hold a valid passport for NRI quota.

SRMJEEE 2027 Exam Pattern

The entrance test is a computer-based examination conducted in remote-proctored online mode. The paper tests the candidate on five core sections drawn from the Class 11 and 12 syllabus.

• Mode of exam: Remote-proctored online test.
• Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes.
• Sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, English and Aptitude.
• Question type: Multiple choice questions only.
• Negative marking: No marks are deducted for wrong answers.

The application fee for SRMJEEE 2027 is Rs 1,400 for online submission. Candidates can pay through online modes such as net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI. The fee is non-refundable once the form is submitted.
