The state government of Telangana cancelled the SSC and intermediate examination of Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) and declared all students as having passed.
The state issued an order declaring students of both regular and vocational subjects, as well as those registered with practical subjects for SSC and Intermediate examinations, as having passed their examinations.

The order read, “The candidates of SSC and Intermediate (TOSS) public examinations April/ May who have registered and are eligible to appear for the exam may be declared as pass in the subjects by awarding a minimum of 35% qualifying marks in each subject.”
If a candidate wishes to improve their marks, they will be allowed to take the immediate subsequent public examination of TOSS when the situation ameliorates.
“Government after careful examination of the entire matter, hereby permit the director of TOSS to take necessary steps to declare all the candidates of SSC and intermediate as pass,” read the order.
