The Tamil Nadu State Board started classes 10 and 12 supplementary exams for students from Monday to September 21, 2020. Read Full Story

According to the information provided by the Board, a total of 1,041 students in class 10 and 184 in class 12 have taken part in the supplementary examinations which began on Monday.

The class 10 supplementary examinations will be carried out until 26 September 2020 according to the schedule provided, while the class 12 supplementary examinations will be carried out until 28 September 2020.

TN State Board Class 10 Supplementary Examination 2020

According to the information provided by the School Education Department, a total of 1,200 candidates registered for the Tamil Nadu Class 10 supplementary examinations and 991 students have taken part in the examinations.

A total of 381 students took part in the new syllabus and 619 took part in the old syllabus. 50 students with disabilities have also taken part in the additional examinations for class 10.

TN State Board Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2020

Approximately 201 candidates registered for class 12 examinations, 156 of whom appeared in the new syllabus and 23 in the old syllabus.

The five disabled candidates who registered also took part in the examinations.

Examination Centre Safety Measures

Class 12 Tamil Nadu Supplementary Exams were carried out in 12 Exam Centers, while Class 10 Exams were carried out in 16 Exam Centres.

Students were screened for body temperature at the examination centres and were made to wash their hands using soap.

Social distances were also maintained in individual classrooms with 8 candidates in each class.

Scribes for Physically Handicapped

Students with disabilities who required scribes had to sit to ensure the physical distance between the candidate and the scribe. The scribes were tested for COVID-19 and the results were sent to the respective examination centres.
