The Telangana State Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (TAFRC) has fixed the admission fee for B.Ed courses in the state for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 block period. The fees for the 209 B.Ed colleges were fixed by TAFRC in accordance with the audited financial statement submitted by the management.
The annual fees for the course range from 16,500 INR to 32,000 INR, with a majority of colleges taking an admission fee between 20,000 and 28,000 INR. The institutes will collect the annual tuition fees for every year in advance only for a specific year or in installments.

The order stated that the institutes may not charge any capitation fee or any amount of money that is unauthorized under any name, other than the fee fixed by the committee. The collection of any unauthorized money would amount to the charging of capitation fees. The profits generated from collecting fees must be for the good of the institutions and not for personal gains.

The order went on to state that fixing the fee structure by the committee will not allow the management to run the relevant courses in their institutions if they are not recognized by the government, the National Council of Teacher Education, or the concerned universities.
