TN Paramedical 2026 Round 2 Registration Extended; Check New Deadline

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DME), Tamil Nadu, has extended the Tamil Nadu Paramedical 2026 Round 2 registration and choice locking window on its official portal tnmedicalselection.net. Candidates can now register and lock choices till September 19, 2026. The Round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on September 21, 2026.

The extension covers three key programme streams offered under the state counselling. These include BSc Nursing, BPharm and Allied and Healthcare Sciences UG courses. The Selection Committee conducts the counselling under the Health and Family Welfare Department.

The revised schedule gives candidates a short additional window. Those who missed the earlier deadline can still submit their applications. Registered candidates can also revisit and finalise their college and course preferences.

Candidates must finish both steps on the official portal before September 19, 2026. The process runs entirely online through the Selection Committee website.

1. Visit the official portal at tnmedicalselection.net.
2. Click on the Round 2 online counselling link for the relevant course.
3. Log in using your registered credentials issued in Round 1.
4. Complete or update the application form with correct details.
5. Select and arrange your college and course choices carefully.
6. Lock your final choices before the September 19 deadline.
7. Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

Who Should Participate in Round 2?

Round 2 is open to fresh candidates and eligible Round 1 participants. Those who did not get a seat in Round 1 can participate. Candidates who received a seat but wish to upgrade can also apply.

Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria set for each course. They must also feature in the merit list published by the Selection Committee. Choice locking is mandatory to be considered for seat allotment.
