TN Supplementary and DEE exams 2020 to Commence from Today, Check Exam Dates 

Tamil Naidu state school supplementary exam to commence from today, September 21. From Class XI and XII, a total of 1,686 candidates are registered to appear for supplementary board exams. Around 1055 students from class X and 332 students from Class VIII will also appear at supplementary exams and board exams (ESLC) respectively.

In addition to these exams, 106 teacher candidates will also take the Diploma in Elementary Education (DEE) exam at two centers.

TN Government to take the revised syllabus exam and old syllabus exam parallelly

Recently in May, the Tamil Nadu government revised the school syllabus. Accordingly, 1,445 candidates from class XI and XII will write for the revised syllabus exam at nine centers. While 241 candidates will write the old syllabus exam at three centers

Likewise, for class X, A total of 256 candidates will write the exam based on the revised syllabus at nine centers. While 799 of them will write the old syllabus exam at seven centers.

Around 101 disabled candidates will also appear for the supplementary exams. The administration has arranged 180 scribes to write an exam on behalf of disabled candidates. Although eighty-eight disabled candidates have already been allotted scribes who are tested safe for Covid-19.

Around 1,100 personnel have been deployed for the smooth conduct of exams. These include invigilators, departmental officers, scribes, and flying squad members.
