TNEA 2026 Round 2 provisional allotment result is out at tneaonline.org. Allotted candidates must confirm the seat and report to the allotted college by August 13, 2026. Four choice options are available on the portal.
The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu, has issued a fresh notice. It has released the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 Round 2 provisional allotment result. The result is available at the official portal tneaonline.org. Allotted candidates must report to the allotted college by August 13, 2026.
The tentative Round 2 allotment was released on August 7, 2026. Candidates confirmed the tentative allotment between August 7 and 8. The provisional allotment order was issued on August 9, 2026. College reporting has continued through the week since then.
Candidates can log in with their registered email ID and password. The login page is at tneaonline.org/user/login. Missing the confirmation window led to automatic cancellation of the seat. The confirmation and reporting hours run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Choice Options Available in Round 2
DoTE has given every allotted candidate four choice options in Round 2. Each option carries a different meaning for further counselling. Candidates must select the option that best fits their preference.
- Accept: Confirm the allotted seat and proceed with college admission.
- Accept and Upward: Retain the seat and stay eligible for an upgrade in the next round.
- Decline and Upward: Reject the current seat and continue in subsequent counselling rounds.
- Decline and Quit: Reject the seat and exit the TNEA 2026 counselling process.
How to Download the TNEA 2026 Round 2 Allotment Order?
Follow the steps below to view and download the provisional allotment order.
- Visit the official TNEA portal at tneaonline.org.
- Click on the candidate login link on the homepage.
- Enter your registered email ID and password to sign in.
- Open the Round 2 allotment section from the dashboard.
- Check the allotted college and branch on the screen.
- Download and print the allotment order for reporting.
Documents Required at the Allotted College
Candidates must carry all original certificates along with one set of photocopies. The allotted college verifies these documents before confirming admission.
- Round 2 provisional allotment order printout.
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and pass certificates.
- Transfer certificate and conduct certificate from the school.
- Community, nativity, and income certificates where applicable.
- Aadhaar card and recent passport size photographs.
The August 13 deadline is firm and non-negotiable. A missed reporting date can cancel a hard-earned engineering seat. Even Accept and Upward candidates must complete college reporting on time.
