TNEA 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality and Nativity

Mathematics carries full weightage. Every mark you lose in Maths reduces your TNEA cutoff by the same amount. Losing 1 mark in Physics only costs you 0.5 points — but losing 1 mark in Maths costs you 1 full point.
Normalization for Non-Tamil Nadu Board Students
If you studied under CBSE, ICSE, or any other board outside Tamil Nadu, your marks are normalized. The formula DoTE uses is:

TNEA 2027 Counselling Process
TNEA counselling is the core of the admission process. After the rank list is published, DoTE runs online counselling in multiple rounds. How to Participate in TNEA 2027 Counselling
