The Directorate of Technical Education Tamil Nadu has released the TNEA 2026 rank list at tneaonline.org on July 1. Candidates can flag errors at the nearest Tamil Nadu Facilitation Centre by July 6, 2026.
The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu has released the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 rank list on the official website at tneaonline.org. Candidates who registered for counselling can now log in and download their rank card.
The rank list shows the overall rank, community-wise rank, and normalised marks for each applicant. The grievance window opens the same day and closes on July 6, 2026. Candidates who spot errors must visit their nearest Tamil Nadu Facilitation Centre (TFC) with original documents.
Ranks are prepared using normalised Class 12 marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. In case of a tie, the ten-digit random number allotted on June 10, 2026 is used as the tie-breaker. Online certificate verification was completed between June 8 and June 20, 2026.

How to Check the TNEA 2026 Rank List?
The rank card is available only to registered candidates who cleared certificate verification. Follow these steps to view and download it.
- Visit the official portal at tneaonline.org.
- Click on the Rank List 2026 login link on the homepage.
- Enter your registered email ID and password or use the OTP option.
- View your overall rank, community rank, and normalised marks on screen.
- Download the PDF rank card and save a printout for counselling.
How to Raise an Objection Against the Rank List?
Grievances cannot be filed online for this year. Candidates must approach a TFC in person before July 6, 2026.
- Locate the nearest Tamil Nadu Facilitation Centre (TFC) from the list on tneaonline.org.
- Carry original Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and a photo identity proof.
- Submit a written grievance to the TFC officer along with self-attested copies.
- Collect the acknowledgement slip and track updates on the portal.
- Reach the TFC on or before July 6, 2026, as late requests will not be accepted.
The rank list was originally scheduled for June 29, 2026. DoTE deferred publication after the CBSE Class 12 re-evaluation results arrived only on June 21. The shift protects re-evaluated candidates from being wrongly ranked.

- Cross-check your name, community, marks, and cut-off score with your Class 12 marksheet.
- If any detail is wrong, visit your nearest TFC before July 6, 2026.
- Shortlist branches and colleges before choice filling opens next week.
- Keep scanned copies of all certificates and payment cards ready for the allotment stage.
