Kakatiya University has postponed the TS CPGET 2026 exam for MSc Food Science and Technology from July 13 to July 16. Revised hall tickets will be issued soon on cpget.tgche.ac.in.

Kakatiya University (KU) has issued a postponement notice on cpget.tgche.ac.in. The notice concerns the Telangana Common Postgraduate Entrance Tests (CPGET) 2026. MSc Food Science and Technology has been rescheduled to July 16, 2026.
The paper was earlier scheduled for July 13, 2026. KU has cited unavoidable reasons for the change. No other CPGET 2026 subject exams are affected.
Only Subject Code 75 candidates need to note the new date. Aspirants in other streams should follow the original schedule. Kakatiya University conducts CPGET on behalf of TG CHE.

About TG CPGET and Its 2026 Cycle
TG CPGET is the state-level entrance for PG admissions in Telangana. Kakatiya University conducts the test each year. It is held on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education.
The exam covers admissions to MA, MSc, MCom, and other PG programmes. Seats are offered at state universities like Osmania and Kakatiya. Telangana University and its affiliated PG colleges also participate.
What Happens to the Hall Ticket?
A revised hall ticket will be issued for the July 16 sitting. Candidates who downloaded the earlier admit card must fetch the new one. The old hall ticket will not be valid on exam day.
How to Download the Revised TS CPGET 2026 Hall Ticket?
The revised admit card will appear on the official portal. Candidates should follow the steps below once the link goes live.

- Click on the revised hall ticket link on the homepage.
- Enter the registration number and date of birth.
- Submit the details to view the hall ticket.
- Download and take a printout for exam day.
