Who Can Participate in the Intra-College Phase?

The Intra-College Phase is meant for candidates who have already been allotted a seat in one of the previous three phases. Such candidates must have completed self-reporting and college reporting for the earlier allotment. This phase allows students to shift to a different course within the same college where a vacancy exists.

Fresh candidates who did not participate in the earlier phases are not eligible for this round. The Special Phase, expected later in July, will cover leftover vacancies at the state level.

How to Submit Web Options for the Intra-College Phase?

Candidates can follow the steps below to exercise options during the Intra-College Phase window.

  • Visit the official portal at dost.cgg.gov.in.
  • Click on the Intra-College Phase login link on the home page.
  • Log in using the DOST ID and password used during registration.
  • View the list of available courses in the presently allotted college.
  • Select preferred courses in order of priority and save each option.
  • Submit the final option list before 11:59 PM on July 13, 2026.
  • Download and keep the option entry acknowledgement for future reference.

What Happens After the Allotment on July 14?

If a candidate is allotted a new course, the earlier allotment stands cancelled automatically. The student must report to the college with the fresh allotment order and complete the course change formalities. If no new course is allotted, the earlier course remains valid and no further action is needed.

Classwork for the first semester has already begun on July 6, 2026. Reallotted candidates should join classes in the new course without delay to avoid attendance shortage.

Why This Phase Matters

The Intra-College Phase is the only chance for allotted students to move to a preferred course inside the same college. Students who missed a top course choice in earlier phases can secure it here without changing institutions.

Action Plan for Candidates

  • Log in to dost.cgg.gov.in on July 10, 2026.
  • Review the list of vacant courses in your current college.
  • Rank preferred courses in strict order of interest.
  • Save and submit web options on or before July 13, 2026.
  • Check the allotment result on July 14, 2026, and act if a new seat is granted.
