Who Can Apply in the Special Phase?

The Special Phase is open to a wide pool of candidates. Fresh applicants who missed the earlier phases can register now. Candidates who were not allotted any seat can also apply.

  • Fresh candidates who did not register in Phase 1, 2, or 3.
  • Candidates who registered earlier but did not receive any seat.
  • Candidates whose Phase 3 admission was conditional and remained unmet.
  • Candidates seeking a reshuffle of their existing allotment.

Documents Required for Registration

Candidates must keep all key documents ready before starting registration. Missing papers can delay the process during certificate verification.

  • Intermediate or 10+2 hall ticket and marks memo.
  • SSC or Class 10 memo for age proof.
  • Study certificates from Class 9 to Class 12.
  • Caste certificate for reserved category candidates.
  • Income certificate for fee reimbursement eligibility.
  • Aadhaar card and a valid mobile number.

Certificate Verification for Special Category Candidates

Certificate verification is scheduled for July 27, 2026. It applies only to special category candidates. The list covers PH, CAP, NCC, Sports, and Extra-Curricular Activities.

Verification will take place at University Help Line Centres across the state. Candidates must carry all original certificates on the day.

Seat Allotment and Reporting Process

The seat allotment result will be published on July 30, 2026. Allotted candidates must complete online self-reporting between July 30 and August 1. Physical reporting to the college runs from July 31 to August 1.

Candidates who miss self-reporting or college reporting will lose their allotted seat. No further extension is expected as this is the final phase.

How to Register for TS DOST 2026 Special Phase?

Registration is fully online through the official DOST portal. Candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 400. Payment is accepted through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.

  1. Visit the official portal at dost.cgg.gov.in.
  2. Click on the Special Phase registration link on the home page.
  3. Enter your Intermediate hall ticket number and other required details.
  4. Pay the Rs 400 registration fee online.
  5. Save the generated DOST ID for future logins.

How Does Web Options Entry Work?

Web options entry is the most important part of the process. Candidates must list their preferred colleges and courses in order of choice. The window is open from July 20 to July 27, 2026.

The system considers the DOST rank and category while allotting seats. Higher preferences are checked first before lower ones. Once the options are locked, changes are not allowed.

Why This Matters

The Special Phase is the last chance for undergraduate admission this year. Fresh candidates who missed earlier rounds get one final window here.
