The results for Telangana State common entrance test for B.Ed have been updated on the official website. Students can now check and download their rank cards.

Osmania University Hyderabad conducts the TS-EDCET examination on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education to grant admissions to the students into B.Ed courses offered by various colleges in the state.

For the academic year 2020-21, the exam was conducted on October 1 and 3,2020 in an online mode in three sections Part A, B, and C, and the results were released on October 28, 2020.

As per the results, the qualifying marks for the general and OBC categories are 38 out of the total marks which are 25% of the whole. However, there are no qualifying marks for students belonging to the (SC/ST) category for the ranking.

TS EDCET 2020: How to check the result?

Visit the official website https://edcet.tsche.ac.in/
Click on the link which says ‘Download Rank card’
Enter the hall ticket number and date of birth as login credentials.
Click on View Rank Card
The result and rank card will appear on the screen.
Students can download and take a print out of the same for future reference.

TS EDCET 2020: Details about Ranking

The rankings have been awarded completely on the basis of the merit obtained in the entrance examinations.

If there is a tie in the total marks, then the individual mark in the Part C section will be considered as a tie-breaker for the relative ranking. If the tie continues for part C too, then Part A will be considered for the ranking system.

The candidates will be bracketed if the scores are equal in all parts of the examination. These bracketed candidates will be considered during admission on the basis of their age.

Older candidates will be given priority in such cases.

Furthermore, no request for revaluation or re-totaling of the marks will be entertained by the exam conducting authority.
