The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has released the TS EdCET 2026 counselling schedule. Online registration begins on July 21, 2026, at edcetadm.tgche.ac.in. The registration window closes on July 28, 2026.
Kakatiya University, Warangal, is conducting the counselling on behalf of TGCHE. The process governs admissions to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programmes. Qualified candidates must complete every step within the notified deadlines.

How to Register for TS EdCET 2026 Counselling?
Candidates must complete the online registration on the official portal. The steps below apply to every qualified aspirant.
- Visit the official portal at edcetadm.tgche.ac.in.
- Click the Phase 1 registration link on the homepage.
- Enter the TS EdCET 2026 hall ticket number and rank.
- Fill in the required personal, academic, and category details.
- Pay the non-refundable processing fee through the available online payment modes.
- Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Submit the form and save the registration slip for future reference.

Documents Required for Certificate Verification
Candidates must keep the following documents ready before the certificate verification process. Both original documents and self-attested copies are required.
- TS EdCET 2026 rank card and hall ticket
- Class 10 and Class 12 marks memos
- Qualifying degree marks memos and provisional certificate
- Study certificates from Class 9 to graduation
- Transfer certificate from the last institution attended
- Income certificate issued by a competent authority
- Caste certificate for candidates belonging to reserved categories
- Residence or nativity certificate, wherever applicable
- Aadhaar card
- Two recent passport-size photographs

How to Exercise Web Options?
Web options allow candidates to rank colleges and subjects according to their preferences. The portal displays the list of participating colleges for candidates to select from.
Candidates must log in using their credentials during the web option entry window. The final seat allotment will be based on the candidate’s rank, category, and submitted choices.
Candidates should place their most preferred colleges and subjects at the top, as higher preferences are considered first during the seat allotment process.
TS EdCET is the only entrance test for B.Ed admissions in Telangana. Every government and private B.Ed college accepts this counselling. Missing the July 28 deadline shuts the door on Phase 1 seats.
