TSCHE Signs MOU with CESS for Restructuring of education in the state

The Telangana State Higher Education Council (TSCHE) will partner with the Center for Economic and Social Studies (CESS) to improve state education.

A Memorandum of Understanding ( MOU) was signed between the Council and CESS to set up a seven-member committee to develop an enhanced education policy, planning, governance and curriculum review.

The MoU was signed between Prof. Tummala Papi Reddy, Chairman of the Council, and Prof. E. Revathy, Director of CESS, in the presence of Vinod Kumar, Vice Chairman of the Planning Commission.

The Deputy Chairman of the Higher Education Council Prof. V. Venkata Ramana and Prof. R. Limbadri were also present at the signing ceremony of the MoU.

TSCHE released a notice of the MOU on the official website. 

The MOU has been signed for five years and will focus on comprehensive analysis and research to improve education from primary to higher education in the state.

As per the MOU, CESS will produce and submit a comprehensive report on various aspects of higher education in Telangana, such as the strengthening of higher education courses, the increase in the number of professional teachers and the development of social and economic plans.

TSCHE also partnered with TCS iON to offer the 'Career Skills Vantage Program' to higher education students in the state. The aim of the program is to improve the employability of students in the state.
