TSCHE Warn Degree Colleges Against Admitting Students, Erring Colleges to Lose Their Affiliation

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has issued a notification warning private colleges against beginning admissions prior to the release of notification by the council.

TSCHE also highlighted the fact that colleges who will fail to adhere to the rules made by the council will lose their affiliation. 

Colleges have been directed by the council to follow the academic schedule. Moreover, they have been reminded that the council has not issued any notification for admitting students into respected degree courses.

The council chairman of TSCHE, T Papi Reddy, Chairman has said that the council has been receiving numerous complaints from parents and student organizations stating that private colleges in Hyderabad are making admissions and collecting huge fees from the candidates, which is illegal.

Following the complaints, the chairman has instructed all private colleges to immediately discontinue the admission process.

“In future, if any complaints are received against colleges, the government/TSCHE will consider the issue seriously and take the initiative to cancel the affiliation,” said T Papi Reddy, Chairman, TSCHE.
