UP Board Compartment & Improvement Exam 2020: COVID-19 Guidelines for Class 10 & Class 12 Exams Released at upmsp.edu.in

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Board has issued COVID-19 guidelines for class 10 and class 12 Compartment and Improvement examinations. Read the article to know more.

According to the dates provided, the examinations are scheduled to take place on October 03, 2020 in two shifts.

Students who have failed in any subject or who wish to improve their marks in UP Board classes 10 and 12 examinations will be eligible to appear.

UP Board Compartment Exam Admit Card

The UP Board of Class 10 and 12 compartment examinations will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Board as precautionary measures to contain the spread of COVID-19.

The Admit Card for the UP Board Class 10 and 12 compartment exams can be found on the Board's official website.

Students appearing for the exams are advised to visit the board's official website-upmsp.edu.in to download the Admit Card.

As per the details provided on the Admit Card, students attending the UP Board of Class 10 and 12 compartment exams are required to report to the examination centres at least 45 minutes prior to the examination.

Exam Centre Precautions

The UP Board Class 10 and 12 compartment exam centre will be sanitised one day before the examination, in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Board.

Fresh masks must also be used on the day of the exams by the students appearing for the exams and by the staff who will be inspectors for the exams.

The District School Inspector has also been directed to provide masks for students who do not have masks.

According to the guidelines issued by the Shiksha Parishad, the examination centres were also asked to arrange for sanitizer bottles at the entrance gate, the examination room and the staff rooms, and liquid soaps, paper napkins and washroom water.

The seating arrangements for the examinations and the staggered entry and exit to and from the examination centre have also been mentioned in the guidelines.

Students with any symptoms of COVID-19 will not be barred from the exams but will be allowed to appear in the scheduled classroom arranged for such students.

UP Board Class 10 and 12 examination results were released by the Board on June 27, 2020, with an overall pass rate of 83.31% for UP Board Class 10 and 74.63% for Class 12 exams.
