UP ITI 2020: Tie-Breaking Procedure
If there is a tie among scores of two or more candidates, then the preferred candidate is selected in two stages: The first selection criteria is the Date of Birth (DOB). The candidate who was born earlier is given preference if a tie occurs.
If the tie still continues after 1st basis, then the applicant who applied first will be considered for admission.
After the candidate’s name appears on the list, he/she has to register for the counselling process. The selection criteria for admission will be based on the recent most qualifying exam marks.
UP ITI 2020: Counseling Process
The counseling is done after the result in online mode. It is initiated by offering a call letter to the applicant. There are two options available to candidates for acceptance/rejection of call letter:
Freeze mode: If a candidate clicks on this tab, then his/her application and seat remain forfeited. He/she cannot apply further.
Float mode: If a candidate clicks this tab, this means that he/she will appear in subsequent rounds of counseling.
At the time of counselling, candidates are required to submit various documents online such as Qualifying examinations, Marksheet & pass certificate, Gov. ID’s (Aadhar card, PAN Card), Category Certificate, etc.
