UPES Dehradun Admission 2027: UPESEAT, Eligibility and Dates

UPES Dehradun has opened applications for 2027-28. Students can select the 2027 academic year on its admission form. BTech applicants may use UPESEAT, while eligible applicants can be considered through JEE Main 2027, board marks, SAT or CUET UG 2027. UPES has also opened 2027 applications for BBA, MBA, law, design and BPharm, with different exams for each course.

UPESEAT 2027 exam and result dates are awaited, along with the final score requirements for admission through national exams or board merit.

UPES Admission Dates 2027

The 2027 applications are open, but the course deadlines, tests and interviews are awaited. The first UPESEAT phase ran on 22-24 January in 2026, suggesting January as a tentative 2027 test period.

Further UPESEAT phases may follow. A first-phase estimate does not establish the final application deadline.

UPES BTech Eligibility and Selection 2027

The UPESEAT 2027 rules require at least 50% marks in both Class 10 and Class 12, plus 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12 for the Schools of Advanced Engineering and Computer Science. BTech Mathematics and Computing has a higher bar: 70% in Class 10, Class 12 and PCM. The health sciences BTech group accepts Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics, and English under its stated conditions.

The basic 50% requirement is separate from the board-merit cutoff and JEE Main exemption percentile. UPES has not yet set those thresholds for 2027.

BBA, MBA, Law, Design and BPharm Admission

BBA and integrated BBA-MBA require 50% in Class 10 and 12. Selection accepts UPESMET-UG, UGAT 2027, CUET UG 2027 or eligible board marks. Regular MBA requires 50% in Class 10, Class 12 and graduation; certain EY-linked MBA courses require 60% in graduation. MBA selection uses UPESMET or an accepted national test, followed by the relevant interview.

Five-year law requires 50% in Class 10 and 12 and accepts ULSAT, CLAT UG 2027, CUET UG 2027 or eligible board merit. BDes accepts UPESDAT or eligible national exam and merit options, followed by a portfolio and interview. BPharm accepts UPESPAT or eligible NEET, JEE Main, CUET UG and board-merit options with the required science subjects. The 2027 score thresholds for admission without a university test are awaited.

How to Apply for UPES Admission 2027

Applicants choose academic year 2027 and their course in the UPES form, then select the university-test or accepted-score option. They enter the relevant score, verify their email and mobile number through OTP, and complete payment.

UPES sends test login details to the registered contacts. BDes and MDes applicants also prepare a portfolio. Selected students complete academic and other document checks before final admission.
